Pearls of Hope: SUMMER 2024

BHTFUSA TEAM PREPARING FOR ANNUAL TRIP TO KAIHURA

Meet twins Jonathan and Joshua who arrived at BHTF when they were only two-weeks-old. Thanks to BHTF, they are thriving youngsters with a bright future.
The BHTFUSA team is gearing up for departure July 14th to visit BHTF Uganda. Anticipation has been building for months for team members Laine, Christine, Gene, Janine, and Christian, and they are all ready to go!

One of the highly anticipated activities the team is looking forward to is leading the Building Women and Building Men conferences. These programs supplement vocational skills with tenets of self-reliance, self-care, and personal accountability and form the cornerstone of our mission to empower the youth at New Hope Vocational Institute (NHVI).

In addition to these impactful conferences, the team will be working on essential water well construction projects to provide clean and safe drinking water to the community. We are also excited to conduct a one-day conference for our university students, focusing on career development. This event will provide an opportunity for students to review their CVs, set goals, and explore paths toward employment or internships.
Our Water is Life and Nothing Without Water initiatives have already had a lasting impact on the communities we serve
There is still time to support these vital efforts, and your contributions can make a significant difference in the lives of many.

BREAKING NEWS:
JANE HAMP MATERNITY WARD
UNDER CONSTRUCTION

Construction of the Maternity Ward annex to the Hope Again Medical Clinic is underway
The dream of a comprehensive, state-of-the-art maternity ward at the Hope Again Medical Clinic will soon be a reality at Bringing Hope to the Family. Expectant mothers in the Village of Kaihura will have access to critical maternal health care and will be provided with an environment for safer pregnancies and deliveries.

Phase I funding for the Jane Grace Hamp Children and Maternity Centre came from long-time supporters and friends of Faith Kunihira, founder of BHTF Uganda. These noble donors are the ones who originally built the Hope Again Medical Clinic and decided to expand much-needed services to the community with the Maternity Ward.

All phases of construction are scheduled to be complete by the end of this year. Watch for more news about the progress of this project and for ways that YOU can participate in the success of the Jane Grace Hamp Children and Maternity Centre.
