Empowerment, Education and Hope! Every year the BHTFUSA team of leaders prepare and conduct a powerful 3-day conference at New Hope Vocational School equipping young women and men with life and leadership skills: starting a business, family planning, self-esteem, goal setting, and HIV/AIDS awareness. The students were overjoyed to receive backpacks filled with essential items, embark on a field trip to Murchison Falls—many experiencing a vehicle ride for the very first time—and gather around campfires to share stories. These simple yet powerful moments created memories that will last a lifetime, making it a truly life-changing experience for both the BHTFUSA team and the students alike.
