Dear Friends and Partners,
Spring is a time of renewal, and at Bringing Hope to the Family, we are experiencing that renewal in every corner of our mission in Uganda. From new life at the Alpha Baby House to a near-complete maternity ward that will serve mothers with dignity and care, this season is overflowing with signs of hope.

Joy is in the air! Two beautiful new babies have joined our family at the Alpha Baby House which now shelters 68 infants. These precious children now have a safe place to grow, be loved, and thrive. Your generosity ensures that their first years of life are filled with the care and nurturing every child deserves.
We are also thrilled to announce that the Jane Hamp Maternity Ward is nearly finished! This much-needed 4000 square foot facility will serve women in Kyenjojo District with safe deliveries, prenatal care, and compassionate medical attention. We can’t wait to officially open the doors and honor the legacy behind its name.

Thanks to your ongoing support, several of our young adults have begun or continued their university journeys this year. Meet one of our most recent graduates…Joan. She lost her father to HIV/AIDS at age 3. At age 8, she was welcomed into the BHTF family, where she received care, love, and educational support — and now she’s a proud graduate!
This is more than education—it’s empowerment, dignity, and a chance to break generational cycles of poverty. Whether it’s nursing, engineering, or business, they are ready to make an impact. We’re so proud of these future leaders and are committed to walking with them every step of the way.

We are excited to welcome Dr. Niyonzima Protogene to our staff at Hope Medical Centre. This addition will expand our ability to serve the growing medical needs of the community and improve access to quality healthcare for countless families. Thank you for helping us strengthen these essential services.

Finally, we are thrilled to announce that seven BHTFUSA volunteers will officially launch this July and be a part of our outreach trip to Kaihura, Uganda! This is a huge milestone, and we are raising support to expand key programs, including our three-day “Building Women” conference at New Hope Vocational School. In addition to their lessons and mentorship, each student will receive a set of sheets, toiletries, journals, pads, etc. This event will empower 100 young women with tools for entrepreneurship, family planning, self-esteem, goal setting, and walking confidently in their journey through life.
